NatureBase is a Canterbury-based open space management company delivering practical, high-quality services for councils, schools and community organisations across the South Island. We combine operational expertise with deep environmental knowledge to manage the parks, reserves, sports fields, playgrounds and community spaces that New Zealanders use every day. Who We Are
NatureBase brings together qualified, experienced open space practitioners with a shared commitment to doing the job properly. Our team holds qualifications and experience spanning sports turf management, environmental compliance, horticultural practice, playground safety and contract management - giving our clients access to a genuinely multi-disciplinary team rather than a generalist maintenance crew.
Our experience spans both public and private sector open space management, including complex multi-site contracts, resource consent processes, environmental management planning and large-scale parks maintenance programmes. We understand the systems, standards and expectations that come with working in the public open space sector - and we deliver accordingly.
